Brooks House is a transitional, non-emergency homeless shelter for women and children located in Wilson County, TN. Brooks House has the capacity for up to 28 women and children to receive temporary shelter. There are five family bedrooms, which can accommodate a mother and up to three children; four single rooms, which can accommodate two females without children; and one Residential Manager’s single room. The house also offers its residents bathroom and shower facilities, a fully functioning kitchen, a dining room, laundry facilities with washers and dryers, a children’s playroom, and a family room. Brooks House has a fenced-in back yard, complete with two covered patios, a children’s playground, picnic tables, gas grill, raised garden beds, and a storage area for children’s bikes.

Residents live at Brooks House for 4-6 months, then transition to their own permanent residence.
